Disney/Pixar Cars Toon Tokyo Mater Drift Playset: With one slam of the hand youll launch into some of the coolest stunts you've ever seen. Launch McQueen through the streets of Tokyo where he encounters an oil spill, knocks-out ninjas and hits a crane. Set comes with one Dragon McQueen car. Not for use with some Hot Wheels vehicles.

Tokyo Mater is the fifth episode in the Cars Toons series shown in theaters in the US right before "Bolt". The short is the first Disney Digital 3-D.
Tokyo Mater episode starts at Flo's V8 Cafe in Radiator Springs, Sheriff pulls up when three of the Tuner Cars, Boost, DJ and Wingo drift past. As Sheriff races after them, Mater says that he used to be an import. He then tells Lightning McQueen what happened. One day, Mater was driving along the road when he spotted a car named Ito San sitting by the side of the road. Mater offers to tow him somewhere far away and he ends up taking him all the way to Tokyo. As Mater drops him off, he notices two modified cars resembling DJ and Wingo. As he follows a group of ladies, he backs up and accidentally taps a gang leader resembling Boost, named Kabuto, who challenges him to a race at midnight. After extreme modifications, Mater comes to the starting line. Ito San tells them that they must race to the top of Tokyo Tower and the winner will become king of all drifters. Kabuto then tells Mater that the loser will be stripped of all modifications and become stock. The race then starts. After Kabuto mocks him saying that he can't drift, Mater ends up sliding through the lobby of a building and being chased by a cop. After he loses Kabuto, he eventually catches up with him, but is slowed down by his posse of ninjas.
Lightning asks Mater what happened next and Mater tells him, "you was there, too".
Back in Tokyo, Lightning is a dragon power expert who defeats the ninjas. After the ninjas are defeated, Mater notices that Kabuto is almost to the tower. Lightning takes Mater through a shortcut through a building site where Mater learns how to drift. After Mater notices that the road is out, Lightning shoots him into a pipe that blasts him ahead of Kabuto. As they race into Tokyo Tower, Kabuto knocks Mater off the tower, but Mater uses his tow hook to pull himself up to the top and wins the race. As Kabuto is laughed at by his ninjas after he is stripped of modifications and Mater celebrates his victory, Mater says, "And that's how I became Tow-ke-yo Mater, king of all of the drifters."

Cars Toon Mater's Tall Tales is an American animated shorts television series by Disney and Pixar featuring the characters Mater and Lightning McQueen from the film Cars. The series first broadcast was on Toon Disney, Disney Channel and ABC Family. The "Cars Toon Mater's tall tales" series was released on DVD and Blu-ray featuring 2 brand new episodes. So far have been released 9 episodes. The last episode #10 is called Air Mater and the first of season 3, and was released on Blu-ray and DVD with Cars 2.

Cars Toon: Mater's Tall Tales é uma série animada da Pixar com os personagens Martin e Relampago McQueen do filme Carros2, em blu-ray e dvd com todos os episódios da minisérie como: Esquadrão de Resgate do Mate; Mate, o Grande; El Matedor; Tokyo Mate; MVNI- Mate Voador Não Indentificado; Heavy Metal Mate; Mate Caminhão Monstro e ainda contem IGN UFO Mate Lunático e Mate, o Detetive. Todos los episodios de Cars Toons siguen la misma fórmula de cuento narrativo: Mate cuenta una historia de algo que ha hecho en el pasado. En la historia, Mate se encuentra en una situación increible y temeraria. Cuando McQueen pregunta si eso realmente pasó, Mate responde: "¿No te acuerdas? Tú también estabas allí!", Y continúa la historia, con la participación repentina de McQueen. Al final del episodio, Mate abandona la escena, seguido por los personajes o las referencias a la historia que se está diciendo, lo que sugiere que la historia podría ser real. Cada historia incluye a Mate, McQueen, Mia y Tia (las dos mellizas rojas que adoraban al Rayo McQueen en la película, aunque en este caso se presentan adorando a Mate), y varios coches equipo de pits.
